Event Planning Intern at Pine Boutique in College Station, Texas

Fall 2014 and Spring 2015

Who is Pine Boutique?

Tara Miller and Dani Kana have always been fashion forward. In 2010, they opened their first boutique, Merge. After the success of Merge, they decided College Station was missing something. They decided the area needed a high-class boutique with name brand items girls love. And with that, Pine Boutique was born in November 2012.

My responsibilities as an intern.

As the event planning inter, I am responsible for planning, implementing, and overviewing events held by the boutique. Many times, I work events alone and always brainstorm with the owners to create unique, fun events for our customers.

Benefits

As an intern, you receive an employee discount at Pine Boutique and Merge Boutique. The internship is unpaid, but if you are hired as a sales associate as well, you'll start at $7.75 and get raises every few months. There are also many networking opportunities due to the customers at Pine. (Mrs. Sumlin is a frequent shopper!)

Job requirements

The only requirements are a creative mind and willingness to work on the weekends.
